LPD offers some tips on coyotes
The issue of human-coyote interaction has been a popular topic in many circles recently. The issue is timely as coyote pups will begin to emerge from their dens during the spring months. It is important to remember that coyotes can live in almost any environment, and many have adapted to living in an urban area. Humans should practice avoidance as much as possible when dealing with coyotes, particularly if there is a den in the neighborhood. While coyotes are typically afraid of human interaction, they can get aggressive on occasion. More coyote information |
