A place for teens to call their own at Bemis Public Library!
Teens have discovered a place at Bemis Library to study, read, see friends, get magazines, and hang out. Since the opening during Teen Read Week in October 2001, the area (located in the front of the library) has been teeming with teens.

Teen
Central at Bemis
Teen
Central has two large restaurant style booths, a counter height table,
and a floor mat and pillows for lounging. There are magazines with teen
appeal, Cliff's notes, graphic novels, teen audio books, and a Teen Self
Esteem collection of books. Bulletin boards provide information about
the library, community and teen concerns. People of all ages who see the
large Teen Central sign as they come in the door, have said they are glad
to see an area for teenagers in the library.
Teen Central was funded by the Friends
of the Littleton Library and Museum and imagined by staff and groups
of teens at Bemis.
