Special Teams

Littleton Fire Rescue maintains four "special teams" within the department:

• Tactical Emergency Medical Support (TEMS)
  Allows emergency medical personnel into crisis situations, previously considered too volatile or dangerous
• Hazardous Materials (Hazmat)
  Responds to calls in which hazardous materials are present or suspected
• Water Rescue (Dive team)
  Performs all kinds of water-rescue
• Wildland
  Provides municipal wildfire protection
