Frequently Asked Questions

Can we bring our dog?

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in our Museum or on the living history farms for their safety and the safety of our farm animals.

Can we bring a picnic?

We do encourage you to picnic on our front lawn before or after you pick your pumpkin! Outside food and drink are not allowed in the museum building or the living history farms.

Are wagons or carts allowed?

Yes, and we encourage them. Those perfect pumpkins can be very heavy. Please use the north gate to exit - bringing pumpkins through the museum leaves dirt and bugs in the hall. Bugs in the museum find our exhibits very tasty as snacks.

Can I volunteer?

You certainly can! You do need to be age 16 and up. We're happy to sign paperwork to reflect your generous gift of your time. Sign up to volunteer.
